DRIVER PROFILE

My first race in Karting was in 2006. I finished 3rd.

Paul Hokfelt Jr
In 2007, at the age of 9 I was already competing for the French championship title. I lead the prefinal until the last lap but I crashed with another pilot taking away every hope of becoming champion.

I continued Karting in a higher category named Minime.  I managed to win the Murois championship. The year after I continued in Minime and won 5 out of 6 races of the Rhône-Alpes championship. In the French championship, my top event that year was a 5th place in the final of the Bridgestone Cup.

At the age of 11 I moved into Rotax and did the Swiss championship in Minimax. I finished third.

In 2011 I continued in Rotax junior (only 2 races that year) where I won one and unfortunately crashed in the second, whilst fighting for the win.

In 2012, I decided with my family to try to make a career out of my passion, I collected experience in the World and European Championships KF3.
Early in the season I was in a lot of crashes, frankly because of too little track time the prior year. I started racing in the WSK series in mid season following the change to the Ward team.
In my 2 races of the WSK Euro series I got into both finals and finished 9th in la Conca.
In the North European championship I finished 3rd, I was pleased considering the fact that I was starting last in the pre final.

2013, I continued racing in karting moving up to KZ, in the Trophea Vega and in one Swiss championship race ending the season with the participation in the World Cup.

Mainly, 2013 was a year of transition from kart to single seater race car. I got track time as well as two races in F4.
